EU Chlorothalonil

The European Union published Commission Regulation (EU) 2016/67, amending chlorothalonil on cranberries from 0.01 ppm (LOD) to 5 ppm, which is now the same tolerance as in the U.S.. The regulation enters into force on February 11, 2016. Growers will be able to use chlorothalonil on this year’s crop for fruit that will be exported to the EU.

The industry members that were a part of this project deserve a great big congratulations and appreciation for the time and effort spent on this effort.
